Krishna had unfinished business with Jarasandha! Years after fleeing to Dwarka, he pays him a visit along with Bheem, who challenges him to a duel. This the fight between Bheema and Jarasandha, which never seemed to end. Jarasandha was a split person fused in the middle, with the halves having a magical ability to join together, even if they are torn apart. Here krishna is tipping off Bheem, by asking him to split his body into two, and throwing them on either side, so they won't re-join.
